One of the latest additions to the B.K. Electronics range of subwoofers, the XLS300/PR is designed to fill the gap between the very compact XLS200 and the Monolith. So if the Monolith is far to big for you but you require more depth and impact than the XLS200, the the XLS300/PR is the sub woofer for you.

Designed and manufactured in the UK the XLS300/PR is a compact and powerful sub woofer. We have decided on the drive unit and passive radiator combination as this is a cost effective route of offering good extension and high SPL in a small enclosure.

The cabinet is manufactured from 25mm MDF and has a central 18mm MDF brace making the cabinet extremely rigid and as non-resonant as possible to avoid colouration of the sound output. The feet are made from solid mild steel, powder coated black and are firmly fitted to the cabinet using M8 bolts. The feet have an M8 thread to facilitate the use of the M8 spikes provided.

The amplifier is manufactured by B.K. Electronics solely for the XLS300/PR and offers all the connection and filtering capabilities of the XLS200. This includes high and low level inputs with separate gain controls, a filter by-pass switch, frequency control and fully adjustable phase, plus a filter bypass switch that allows the bass management of your AV Processor to manage the bass frequencies for home theatre work leaving the XLS200's built in filtering to deal with the bass management on the High Level Input for Hi-Fi use.
