You are looking at a 12" speaker that has been especially selected by the designer of the Q50 / Q100 as a suitable replacement drive unit. This speaker boasts a large magnet, vented pole piece, rubber surround and a polypropylene cone, which results in tight and controlled bass.

Because the original speaker in the QBass /Q50 / 100 /100E had 8 fixings holes and the replacement has 6 fixings, we supply with the kit a set of 6 self tapping screws and gasket tape. The replacement speaker will fit perfectly in the cabinet as shown below and should be easy to install with just a screw driver and soldering iron
